The East Region Soccer League (ERSL)

Overview
The ERSL is a non-profit organization in Eastern Ontario that provides levels of soccer competition as requested by governing bodies in accordance with the Ontario Soccer Pyramid for Play.   It was formed in 2002 and is one of four Regional Leagues within Ontario.  The ERSL serves two Districts, Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association (EODSA - Ottawa area) and Southeast Ontario Soccer Association (SOSA – Brockville-Belleville-Kingston areas).  The ERSL is affiliated to and governed by the Ontario Soccer.

The ERSL offers four competitions:

  • Regional Competition (EODSA & SOSA)
    Regional divisions are offered for boys and girls in the age groups under 13 to under 18. The champions of the boys and girls divisions are eligible to compete in the Ontario Soccer Regional Champions Tournament at the conclusion of the season.
  • District Competitive Competition (EODSA)
    District Competitive Competition divisions are offered for boys and girls in the age groups under 13 to under 18 located within the Eastern Ontario District of the Ontario Soccer Association.
  • District Recreational Competition (EODSA)
    District Recreational Competition divisions are offered for boys and girls in the age groups under 13/14, under 15/16 and under 17/18 located within the Eastern Ontario District of the Ontario Soccer Association.
  • District Development Competition (EODSA)
    District Development Competition divisions are offered for boys and girls in the age groups under 9 to under 12 within the Eastern Ontario District of the Ontario Soccer Association.

There will be promotion and relegation between the District Competitive competition and Regional competition.
