Community Course Applications Now Being Accepted
The OSA is accepting applications for Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train and Soccer for Life courses. For more information on hosting clinics please visit http://www.ontariosoccer.net/Coach/CourseCalendar.aspx
The OSA welcomed its 65 Learning Facilitators and 15 Master Learning Facilitators for a workshop Nov. 9-10. With the coaching clinic season underway at the OSA looks to host more than 200 clinics for the 2014 soccer season! Female Mentorship Program
The OSA would like to recognize the eight coaches selected for the 2013-2014 Female Mentorship Program: Dayna Corelli, Sylvia Forbes
, Sarah Regan Irvine
, Shandel Jewell
, Jennifer Kitching
, Alicia Lashley
, Stefanie Lynch
, and Tracy Vaillancourt.
The objective of the programs is to prepare female soccer coaches for the B License – Part (Provincial B) and B License – Part 2 (National B) courses with the goal of developing elite female soccer coaches who will in turn act as educators and mentors to other aspiring female coaches in the province.
Partnership with Academy Soccer Coach
The OSA is working with Academy Soccer Coach to allow coaches to use the session planning tool for Learn Facilitators and Master Learning Facilitators as well as Pre B, Provincial B, and Goal Keeping Diploma Course participants. In 2014, Soccer for Life course participants will have access to ASC for coaching education.
Coaching Conference – March 23, 2014
