The ERSL Welcomes 3 New Board Members

Name: Hani Mokhtar
Position: President

Hani has been involved in all aspects of soccer operations, at the Club level (Coach and Administrator) and District level (Board Member and 1st VP of the EODSA) for more than 20 years. He has been an OSA Referee and is currently a Referee Instructor in Ontario and Quebec. He has also been a member of the OSA Discipline and League Management Committees and was also the Chair of OSA East Region. He played a key role in the creation of the ERSL and was later named as the OSA representative to the ERSL.

Name: Hugh Daechsel
Position: Director of Operations - Level 5 SOSA

Hugh, a senior archaeologist with Golder Associates, an earth sciences consulting firm,  is in his sixth year as registrar with the Cataraqui Clippers Soccer Club.  He has, during this period, represented the Club at various ERSL general meetings.  His other activities with the Clippers, have included having served as a convenor, assistant coach and fund raiser.  His daughter played recreational soccer with the club for ten years and his son is currently a keeper with the Level 3, U15 boys team, his fifth year playing in the ERSL.

Name: Peter Studer
Position: Director of Operations - Level 5 EODSA

An OSA Senior certified coach, Peter has been involved in organized soccer for over 10 years, as an administrator, coach, player and most importantly parent volunteer. Peter has served on the EODSA Board, a Club Board, coached a number of girls' competitive teams, and has played in OT and men's house league. In addition to his appointment to the ERSL Board, Peter is currently Director of PR & Marketing for the Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club, coaches a U11 team, and plays when he can. Peter is a federal public servant working in economic/business development related to the aerospace and defence sector. A resident of Ottawa, Peter is married with two daughters.
